1. Our Philosophy on Quality

Every KnotAgain piece is meticulously hand-knotted. Before leaving our Cape Town studio, each item undergoes a rigorous quality check to ensure the structural integrity of the knots and the quality of the fibers. Due to the artisanal nature of our work, slight variations in texture or pattern are expected and celebrated as part of the unique character of your piece.

2. Returns

Because each KnotAgain piece is hand-knotted to order and involves extensive artisanal labor, we are unable to offer monetary refunds. We kindly ask that you choose your piece carefully, paying close attention to the dimensions and material descriptions provided. If you are unsure about a specific texture or size for your space, please contact our studio at hello@knotagain.co.za before purchasing; we are happy to provide additional photos or guidance to ensure your selection is perfect.

3. Exchanges

While we do not offer refunds, we want you to love your architectural investment.

  • Exchanges: If your piece arrives and you find a different size or “Edit” would suit you better, we offer exchanges for items of equal or greater value within 14 days of delivery.

  • Condition: To qualify for an exchange, the piece must be in its original, unused condition and returned in its original packaging.

4. Non-Returnable Items

To maintain the exclusivity of our craft, the following cannot be returned:

  • Bespoke Commissions: Any made-to-order items or custom-sized pieces engineered specifically for your space.

  • Sale Items: All items purchased during a promotional period are final sale.

5. Damaged or Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that your piece arrives with a structural defect (e.g., a failed joint or damaged cord):

  • Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the damage.

  • We will arrange for a priority courier collection and provide a full repair or replacement at no additional cost to you.

6. Return Shipping
  • Local (RSA): Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service like The Courier Guy.

  • International: International return shipping and any associated customs duties are the responsibility of the customer.
